There are specialized systems on the market, which are designed to work with the manufacture’s own equipment. Because of the specialized nature and captive customer base these systems are expensive and limited. Our system is not restricted to a particular equipment manufacture by design and because of this; our system is more versatile and affordable.

Because our system was not designed for a particular product in mind, it will work with any product on your mind. We have sensors and interfaces for any type or age machine. Our equipment is installed on web and sheet presses, inserters, folders, mail openers and about every other type machine in the mailing and graphic arts industry. The ARDaC database and software can be linked to leading accounting and management software packages.

Barcode is an important part of the ARDaC system. While our products are designed for keypad and bar code input, we encourage customers to focus on barcode, which eliminates clerical error. All forms intended for operator use are designed with bar code entry. The system includes software for creating Job Work Orders Employee badges and Option time sheets, which aid employee’s in being more productive.

REPORTS |

The ARDaC system provides management with a wide verity of production and management reports. Reports can be run on jobs in process on the shop floor or jobs that have shipped. Because this is a data collection system many different types of reports can be generated. A Job Summary Report provides a detail for each work center involved with the job and a summary for all work centers. A Work Center Shift Report provides management with a tool to analyze work by showing run, idle, option and total time for each WC and shift. There are reports that include information directly from the shop floor and each machine running it.

For those with special requirements custom reports are available or you can easily modify one of our existing reports. All ARDaC reports are based on Seagate Crystal Reports , which is the most flexible and powerful report-generating package. We chose this package with the customer in mind. We can supply Seagate Crystal Reports or you can purchase it at most software retailers.

Real-time Live (The ability to view production in process as it is running) |

Real-time monitoring gives management the ability to check job status and performance at any time. Whether you’re managing one machine, a department full of machines or the total of all machines running a particular job, real-time Live is a tool you need. A Work Center Shift Monitor provides management with a tool to analyses work by showing machine run, idle, option and total time for each WC and shift. Correct production problems immediately not the next day after time and production sheets have been compiled.

The data is stored in an MS Access database. The data can be used by other systems for special reporting, payroll etc.

The communications module was designed to interface with a wide range of devices. If a counter, terminal or controller is communications ready, we can create a software drive for it. In doing so, date from the device can be included in our database and reports and be managed in real-time with our software. The interface can be RS-232, 422, 485, RF (wireless) or any other industry recognized method of data transfer.
